Halloween party!

On Wednesday at my Breast Feeding Group we all dressed up our little kiddies. All the babies were so cute. The nurse, Karen, was super sweet and bought cheese, crackers, grapes, cookies, and chocolate for us! It was so much fun and the kids all looked great. Today we are going to another Halloween party so there will be more Halloween pics to come!

The Cowardly Lion with Cookie Monster in the backgroundMe LOVE cookies!!!!
Getting into trouble
Jude the Pumpkin!
Proof of this lion's cowardice...he's beating up on the 7 month old, not the 14 month old!
The boys!
Robin Hood, Lion, Parrot, Pumpkin, Cookie Monster, and BOO
Piglet!
It is no small miracle that the kiddies stayed still long enough for this picture to be taken!
Uh-oh, the group is starting to break up!
What's wrong Oliver? We thought it was all the noise we were making, but I just made an interesting discovery in the above picture. Robin Hood caught in the act of taking Oliver's dummy!
The culprit! But she's pretty cute, so we'll forgive her:)

Tagarino

Post the fourth picture in your fourth folder:ahh, how timely! last year's halloween costume! Oliver (OF COURSE) was supposed to be out of m'belly by then, (allready five days late!) and I still had to wait 9 days after this date too! Needless to say both of the shirts are wearing are Shane's because I could no longer fit into mine!

Haircut!

Almost forgot! The morning of Sandwich Fair Oliver also got his first hair cut from Daddy! We don't have any action shots because Shane had the scissors and I had Oliver in a head lock; but we do have before and after shots!

before

after

What a week!

Tuesday Oliver started WALKING!!!!!! Thats right, for all of you keeping track, he crawled for a month and a half before he walked! My goodness! We'll have to get it on video; but he's just so cute trying to balance and move his feet one tiny step a time.
I also noticed that he is finally getting his 7th tooth in. For all keeping track, the last tooth that came in was MAY so its been a while.
Shane made it hope safely (and 20 minutes early!) last night. Its so nice to have everyone together again...although Oliver was so excited he didn't go to sleep until 11!! All my hard work for naught! (This week I had him back on an 8 o'clock sleep schedule)
Now for the HIGHLY anticipated Sandwich Fair photos (okay, I know they're only anticipated by Marisa...)

See, you didn't even need to go to the Fair...you've experienced it all through the pics!

Fried Goodness

Oh! And to answer Becky's question...here is the order of what we liked, starting from our fave...
1. FRENCH FRIES!!!
2. Buffalo Sausage
3. Soup in a Bread Bowl
4. Fried Dough Nuggets
5. Lemonade
6. Fried Pickles
7. Buffalo Burger
8. Fried Twinkie
9. Fried Snickers

We weren't terribly impressed with the Twinkie or Snickers. It was all just a bit too much. We just figured it's something that you have to experience and the only place you will experience it is at a Fair! Shane was pleasantly surprised by the fried pickles. He said they were very tasty. I hate pickles, so I was going nowhere near them! The only thing that we wished we'd gotten but didn't was apple crisp; but I can always make that!

Postpone

Well this may be my last blog post for a little over a week. Thats right, you're all just going to have to wait for the rest of the Sandwich Fair pics. This is because Shane took the computer with all of the pictures on it with him (I'm on my Mom's).
But where did he go, Jess?
He is doing inventories of businesses in Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland. He won't be back until next Wednesday! We haven't spent a night apart since we got married! (Only 2.5 years, but thats enough time to get into the habit of having a bed mate!) So although Oliver started out in his crib last night, he ended up in bed with me; more for my benefit than his.
Well that doesn't sound all too bad...
Except that he was driving to his hotel yesterday in Chicago and got rear-ended and had to go to the hospital for whip lash! Poor DH. We're both a little nervous about planes so we said a special prayer that everything would go smoothly on the plane...I guess we were a little too specific! Our next prayer will be something along the lines of "please don't let anything go wrong.ever." That seems clear enough, right?

The Food

I'll get to the rest of the fair pictures later, but lets get the important stuff out of the way...the food! We went to the Fair Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
Friday night we had;
-a dog bowl of fries
-a buffalo burger
-a buffalo sausage
-a GIANT eclaire
Saturday we had;
-a smaller size of fries (they're just so good!)
-fried dough nuggets
-two Sunkists from the Inter-Lakes tent
-corn chowder in a bread bowl
-fresh squeezed lemonade
-fried Twinkie
-fried Snickers
-another buffalo sausage
-fried pickles
-a bottle of blueberry soda (tastes just like pie!)

Wowza...thats a long list! And now for the pictoral evidence. We forgot the camera Friday night, so you'll just be viewing Saturday's line-up

Ugghh, now you understand my previous post better! But we figure we don't eat like this everyday and the Fair only comes once a year so we live it up!
