Update

So the doctors at the hospital seemed pretty underwhelmed by Oliver's diarrhea which is actually a bit of a relief! They seemed pretty confident that it was caused by the Amoxicillin that Oliver was on for the ear infection so they told me to take him off of it and to just keep him hydrated. They were back and forth about whether to give him an I.V. or not but ultimately decided against it because it is pretty traumatic for the little one (and the parents!) and he was still taking liquids well. We've been giving him lots of Pedialyte so he's been staying hydrated. He lso hasn't had any "bowel problems" since the hospital (funny how that always happens!) so with any luck the worst has past!
