High Five!

(I wrote this entry a week ago, but for some reason it didn't post, so here it is now...)

Lily has learned how to give high fives! Its too cute! She looks like a little robot doing it. Up goes the arm. Pause. Move forward. Pause. Hand to hand. Heehee!

She amazes me with her smarts. She understands so much. She can't always express herself, which is where the tantrums come from, but she definitely knows what we say to her. She can easily follow most commands (does that make her sound like a dog?) and is able to respond to yes/no questions (smile=yes shake head=no) We've started doing a little sign language with her in hopes that she'll be able to express herself that way. She seems very close to being able to speak, though, so we'll see what happens first.

She's also learned to say "hi" and she says it to everyone, especially dogs!
