Florida Day 2

Sunday didn't get off to a very good start. Shane and I wanted to take everyone out to a breakfast buffet place called Shoney's that we had been to 3 years earlier. We searched for a good 30 minutes before we gave up and went to IHOP. Shoney's had moved to another part of town without TELLING US! How dare they! Anyway, IHOP was delish. I had strawberry cheesecake pancakes and Shane had strawberry stuffed french toast. Yum!! After that we went grocery shopping at Publix. I won't lie, we bought some Krispy Kremes. Also, fruit in Florida is so wonderfully cheap! Interestingly enough, though, Florida's Natural Orange Juice is cheaper in NH than FL! Oh, globalization, how complex you are.

The rest of the day we just hung out around the pool. We discovered that Lily LOVES the water. We put her in her floaty and we could have just left her there until dinner, and she would have been happy as a clam. I think it's because she know's Oliver can't tackle her in the water (yet). We bar-b-qued for dinner. Oliver was so interested in everything around him. I taught him what a palm tree was and for the rest of the vacation he loved pointing out he "pom" trees.

It was a beautiful relaxing day.
