Father's Day

We finally got to celebrate Father's Day this Sunday because Shane and Oliver were both feeling much better. Oliver gave Shane a book called "I Love Daddy" and a pin that said "#1 Dad". They're both very cute and I love them both to death!


Then this morning I had to take a picture of them sleeping because they're both too stinkin' cute not to! Oliver, as you can see, is a bit of a bed hog. I constantly have to pull him back toward me at night...he just wants to be near his daddy!

Sickie Update pt. 2

Oliver is almost completely better, just a little cough'n'snots left. Sweet Shane isa different story. Our FNP told us toay that he has pneumonia! He was put on antibiotics, anti-nausea meds, and Tylenol with codine. He also received a blessing last night from my dad and Eric Felch. Right now he is in a deep sleep which is great because he has been in too much pain to sleep the past couple of days...Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

Sickie Update

So I just went to our FNP to talk more about Oliver and he determined that Oliver does NOT have Bronchitis and that his body is already fighting the ear infection on his own so we don't need to use antibiotics! What a blessing it is to have such a healthy boy and a great FNP!

Sick Baby

My poor sweet baby has been sick all weekend. Yesterday he had a fever of 103, runny nose, and hacking cough, so we took him to the hospital. The doctor at the clinic determined that he has bronchitis and an ear infection. So far he is doing better today, but it is still so sad to see your baby in pain and not be able to explain to him why. Also, he gags and throws up when we try to give him any medication so does anyone have any tricks about how you give meds to your breast-fed infant?

Burger-meister

When Aaron was little he used to headbang in his car seat and the older kids used to chant "Burgermeister, burgermesiter, burg-burg-burgermeister!" It looks like we've got another Burgermeister on our hands!

(I was on the phone with Marisa while Shane was typing...I'm not sure who I was talking about when I said "Aww...he loves you! Why don't you love him back?")

Fun in the Sun!

Oliver got his first taste of summer last week by going in Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's pool! Even though the pool was 68 degrees he loved splashing around in his floaty! Its going to be a great summer!
